Office SharePoint Designer 2007 מספקת כלים חזקים לבנייה ועיצוב אתרי SharePoint בניית יישומי מהלכי עבודה (Workflow) וכלי דוחות על גבי פלטפורמת ה- SharePoint והכל בסביבה אחת.
מייקרוסופט שחררה את SharePoint Designer 2007 מהראשון לאפריל 2009. לפי מייקרוסופט:
"Our strategy is to facilitate the creation of these customizations and allow our customers to make the most of their overall investments in SharePoint"
